Study under a WorkStudy Program
Nowadays more and more college students are taking parttime jobs as they have more time at their disposal. Some are eager to gain experience and improve their practical skills. Others want to earn some money and relieve the financial burden on their families.
But every coin has two sides. On the one hand, parttime jobs do much good for us. We can develop our skills and improve our material life as well. On the other hand, we may not be able to put our heart into study in the “gold rush”. Worse still, those who fail to resist the temptation from society will take a wrong road, and even end up in prison.
In conclusion, the outcome of study under a workstudy program depends on how we handle it. We should allot plenty of time to our study, keeping in mind that study should have priority over anything else for us college students, and money is not our purpose but a means to provide us with comfort.
